The Laurentians is 22,000 km2 (13,670 mi2) of pure pleasure and the perfect place to get away for a day, a weekend or a long stay, in a cottage, an inn, a B&B or a luxurious hotel, whether as a couple, a family or all by yourself! Many outdoor activities are offered year-round: biking or cross-country skiing at Le P’tit Train du Nord Linear Park; canoeing, kayaking or rafting on one of the renowned rivers, like the Red; alpine skiing or snowboarding at the fantastic Centre de villégiature Tremblant; or simply fully enjoying a sunny day on the golf course. For successful family vacations, everyone will be happy to enjoy the thrills offered by a certain number of water parks in the area, like the famous Mont Saint-Sauveur Water Park. Many restaurants, art galleries and health centres offer other great ways to relax. The region also features an important concentration of Nordic baths; the services they offer are as varied as they are beneficial.
