Montréal perfectly harmonizes European charm and eclectic North American style. The UNESCO City of Design and the province’s intellectual and artistic centre resonates with the rhythms and colours of Montrealers. What a sight to behold: Montréal from one of the many belvederes which adorn Mount Royal or from the inclined tower at the Olympic Stadium (the highest in the world). Downtown Montréal, tucked between river and mountain can also be seen from the spectacular Casino de Montréal on Île Notre-Dame, at the heart of Parc Jean-Drapeau, as it shines with all its fire, illuminated by the heat and glow of exciting and inspiring activities taking place day and night. Old Montréal and its paved streets promise you a trip into the course of History, whereas the Quays of the Old Port overflow with things to do year round: ice-skating, trendy bars and terraces, biking, IMAX cinema, etc. Quite a few museums pave the route to culture and the arts, like the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Musée d’art contemporain and the Montréal Science Centre, to name but a few. And if you are in need of green spaces, the large number of urban parks, the Biodôme and the Botanical Garden are great ways to discover nature right in the middle of the city!
