The Aquarium du Québec welcomes you to tour its collection of nearly 10,000 fish, invertebrates and marine mammals… just 15 minutes from downtown Québec City. To enjoy a complete experience, make sure you visit the new, recently opened pavilion. An astonishing tour for the whole family; it promises much pleasure with a hebertism course and water games for children.

Exploring the New Pavilion

The new pavilion at the Aquarium du Québec is quite simply magic. During your visit, you will cross through three sections featuring décors and plays on light that will dive you into different atmospheres. You will start by experiencing the mysterious ambiance of the seabed. Then, you’ll be swept into the world of pirates before finally finding yourself on the coast. In turn, you’ll see dancing jellyfish, waltzing seahorses and swimming sea dragons.

At the end of your tour of the new pavilion, you can touch rays and bonnethead sharks in their handling tank, as if you were seaside. Children and even adults will literally fall for the charm of this lovely supervised opportunity alongside animal care personnel.
