When you come to Québec City, make a stop at the Plains of Abraham for a day filled with discovery. Why not share a succulent picnic in the open air on this immense area charged with history? And that's not all! There are a number of different activities that will captivate the whole family. Take a trip back through time when you enter the Martello Tower, get on board Abraham's Bus, or visit the Odyssey Multimedia Exhibition. You could also relax for a few precious moments while listening to an outdoor concert.

Experience history in a 1001 ways

History has never been so modern as at Martello Tower 1. There are some great surprises in store for you as, using a smart tablet, historical animations in real-time are superimposed on the tower's setting. All aspects of the history of Québec's Martello towers will be revealed to you from July 1 to September 3. Your experience will be unbelievably realistic.

All year long, Odyssey will take you on a captivating virtual trip that retraces 400 years of history. With historical characters at your side, you will witness the birth of New France and your journey will continue through the great battles of Québec up to the birth of this historical urban park. The adventure is worth the detour.

Get on board with Abraham

Do you know Abraham Martin? Pilot for the king and friend of Samuel de Champlain, the Plains were named in his honour. This summer, get on board Abraham's Bus with Abraham, and he will reveal many of the Plains' secrets to you. Open from July 2 to September 3.

The music makes it magical!

Just a few steps from the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, the magnificent stage of the Edwin-Bélanger Bandstand returns for its 20th musical season. In a unique outdoor setting, you can hear blues, jazz, and world music concerts. In all, 30 free concerts will be presented until June 29 and from July 19 to August 19. Another great way to enjoy summer on the Plains of Abraham!
