Sweet Escape in the Domaine Joly-De Lotbinière
A sweet escape stamped with history is waiting for you in the Chaudière-Appalaches at the Domaine Joly-De Lotbinière. The exhibition Domaine Joly-De Lotbinière, la mémoire des grands arbres will help you discover the wealth of this heritage site considered to be one of the most beautiful gardens in North America. You can then wander through the gardens at your own pace to see the more than 2300 varieties of plants, listen to an intimate pastoral concert, or enjoy a well-deserved moment of relaxation with a view of the river. Magnificent.
Reford Gardens, open for more than 50 years
This summer, the well-known Reford Gardens are brewing a cocktail of perfumes and colours to celebrate their 50th anniversary with panache. Concerts, circus acts, and musical brunches will enrich the remarkable landscape designs of this jewel of the Gaspé.
The Estevan Lodge, the splendid historic home that will tell you everything about Elsie Reford who initiated this outstanding horticultural work, is also celebrating its 125th anniversary. Finally, don't miss the contemporary gardens presented for the International Garden Festival from June 23 to September 30, 2012 including the famous Jardin de bâtons bleus (blue stick garden).
