Honey Stores in Quebec

Honey making is both fascinating and succulent! Quebec beekeepers are teaming up with bees to cultivate this precious golden sweet. Visiting a beekeeper is treating yourself to a unique moment during which you will learn more about how honey is produced in apiaries. Many sites open their doors to the public to share their passion and know-how for apiculture. These interpretation centres will provide you with an opportunity to see bees in action in their hives. The whole chain of production behind honey will be explained, from pollen gathering to transformation by bees in the hive and, finally, extraction of honey for the making of different products. Visiting a beekeeper is also about tasting different honey products and learning to differentiate between clover and blueberry honey.
