Region: Gaspésie Category: Hotel
Municipality: Cap-Chat Traveler reviews:
Perched 615 m (2,018 ft) high on the mountain at the Réserve faunique de Matane (Matane Wildlife Reserve), the Chic-Chocs Mountain lodge (the first mountain lodge in Eastern Canada) promises guests an unforgettable experience. At the heart of an immense and almost untouched natural territory, the innkeeper and his team take care of every detail at this cozy 18-room lodge, where comfort, pleasure and tranquility await. The common areas, such as the dining room and lounge, encourage conversation among visitors. The balconies and large windows offer superb observation points over exposed mountain peaks, the Hélène Waterfalls and kilometres of virgin forest. In both summer and winter, guests can enjoy many activities, while at the heart of nature’s generosity. And don’t miss out on the chef Alain Laflamme’s return to the Lodge this Summer 2009.
