Hydro-Québec Training Center

The training centre in Rouyn-Noranda is a must-see destination! Thanks to the presentation “Electricity from the power station to your home,” you will discover the phenomenon of electricity, how it is produced and transported. You will also understand how your consumption habits influence power grid management. You will also learn about remote control of hydroelectric stations that are located thousands of kilometres from urban centres. For this season only, the training centre is presenting an exhibition on of our time’s greatest issues. Explore the universe of climate chance with “Sila: Clue in to Climate Change,” an exhibition created by the Canadian Museum of Nature, only showing this summer.
