As part of the Winterlude event taking place February 3 to 20, 2017, the Snowflake Kingdom
invites you to join the festivities surrounding the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation. Decorated with the theme “Explore our Canadian Landscapes" in mind, Jacques-Cartier Park in Gatineau will be turned into a huge winter playground with slides, entertainment giant games and activities of all kinds to make sure families have a memorable time!
A must for families
A visit to the Snowflake Kingdom gives you the chance to have fun with the Ice Hogs mascots, to soar above on the giant zipline and to savour the joys of winter. Indulge your sweet tooth at the maple corner, introduce your little ones to skiing and reconnect with your inner child on the huge games.

A long-awaited return
After a seven-year absence, the National Snow Sculpture Rendezvous is back and will be showcasing five of Canada’s regions: the Atlantic, the St. Lawrence and Great Lakes, the Prairies, the Pacific and the North. Visitors will get to vote for their favourite sculpture as part of this national competition. See the artists at work and watch as the snow is transformed into marvelous displays.
Spotlight on what’s new
To mark the 150th anniversary of the Confederation, a maze will be constructed at the bottom of a slide. Will you succeed in finding your way through? There will also be a new group slide so you can have fun with the whole family, an obstacle course on the snowscoot trail and an acrobatics show for even more entertainment. Prepare to be delighted and amazed!
