Festival des traditions du monde
Even if you have already visited the Eastern Townships, this region still has the power to charm you again and again. From intimate musical performances in the garden of a historical house to spectacular lookouts on mountaintops, not to mention works of art carefully displayed in a vineyard, you will find something on your travels that will make you feel good.

Let the music begin!

Located in the charming village of Compton, the Louis-S. St-Laurent national historic site presents a series of concerts for you to enjoy in the tranquility of its garden every Sunday in July and August. In addition, from August 8 to 12, take a trip to Sherbrooke for the 13th Festival des traditions du monde where a big party awaits you. Come celebrate the riches of a number of countries and discover their culinary, artistic, and sports specialties presented by a diverse range of cultural communities.

Among the grapevines or on the mountaintops, the choice is yours

The Domaine des Côtes d'Ardoise, the oldest vineyard in Quebec, is an enchanting site with more than 35,000 vines. As well as being a nice stop to taste wine, this site is special because of the exhibition of sculptures entitled Nature and Creation which brings together more than 50 artists in a country environment. The Route des Sommets is another suggestion for a verdant experience in the Eastern Townships. From it you can see all the outstanding views for more than 157 km. Follow your heart and take off by car, bike, or on foot—the choice is yours.

Summer fun with your family

l'ASTROLab au parc national du Mont-Mégantic

In the spirit of reaching new heights, the ASTROLab at the Parc National du Mont-Mégantic offers some astronomical discoveries that the whole family will find fascinating. You can also choose to climb trees at D’Arbre en Arbre in Lac-Mégantic, Arbre Aventure in Eastman, or at Arbre Sutton. For refreshment on a hot day, you can take a trip to Bromont to spend some time on the water slides. Unless you prefer the waterpark at the Granby Zoo, another great place to visit in the Eastern Townships.
