World Film Festival of Montréal

A veritable window into national cinemas, the World Film Festival of Montréal encourages cultural diversity, shares cinema from every continent, promotes filmmakers and innovative works, discovers and encourages new talent, and promotes meetings between cinema professionals from around the world. Every year, films from more than seventy five countries, produced by well-known and first-time filmmakers, are selected. Many films have been “discovered” in Montréal. The World Film Festival event is open to both cinema professionals and the general public.
