Every year, at Val-d'Or, the Festival d'humour de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue attracts, on average, more than 20,000 festival goers. For six consecutive days, the festival presents shows with Quebec's biggest names in comedy, as well as up-and-coming comedians. Three evenings of galas at the outdoor amphitheatre, at the enchanting Cité de l'Or site; an improvisation competition between a team made of regional stars and the LNI (Ligue nationale d'improvisation); finale of the Juste pour Rire Concours de la relève de l'humour; shows in concert halls, etc. The Festival d'humour de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue is a must-see event!
