Festival du bûcheux Saint-Pamphile

The Festival du bûcheux Saint-Pamphile highlights the forest of the Chaudière-Appalaches region, in Quebec, Canada. At this festival, you will find sports, cultural and social activities, including tree felling with axes, hand saws, two-handed saws, a knuckleboom contest, firewood cutting, precision tree felling, a sawmill visit, evening dances, bingo, sports and card tournaments, as well as a parade. A heavy machinery exhibition, food and artisan kiosks are also part of the event. For the little ones, there is the “Village de Pistoc,” which features a show and inflatable games for them to have fun. To astonish all, a musical fireworks show is also scheduled. A campground will be located less than 500 metres (1,700 feet) from the festival site for the occasion.
