The Festival international de cinéma jeunesse is the oldest film festival for young people in North America. The festival welcomes nearly 20,000 people. The event is organized by the Carrousel international du film de Rimouski. This association has the goal of promoting cinema throughout the world by organizing an annual international youth film festival, as well as activities in cinema education, training, production, and exchange with artists from the world of cinema.
