The Festival International de la Galette de Sarrasin inc. de Louiseville (International Buckwheat Cake Festival) is a traditional event whose objective is to promote buckwheat. Visitors from Quebec, other Canadian provinces and overseas (England and Belgium) come to enjoy many cultural, social and sports activities. Captivating shows, tastings of terroir products, a one-of-a-kind parade, crowning of the Reine Meunière (Milling Queen) and various family activities all figure on the 10-day program of fall festivities.
