International Poetry Festival

The International Poetry Festival presents more than 350 poetry-related activities. Over the course of 10 days in Trois-Rivières, the event is held at more than 70 different sites. For this event, more than 100 poets from 5 continents will come face to face with the 35,000 people who come to hear them in the presence of national and international media. A wide array of activities are part of the Festival’s programme: contests, classroom visits by poets, a poetry hanging line where visitors can express themselves, Poetry Promenade, poets at work, poetry readings in cafés, poetry expositions and so much more.
