From August 21 to 26, 2012, the city of Québec will be hosting the best military bands from Canada and abroad, to launch the 14th edition of the Québec City International Festival of Military Bands. Festivities are planned over 6 days, including some thirty electrifying events and free concerts such as the Festival Parade and the Armoury concerts. Each year, the best military bands from around the world, attracted by the festival’s reputation, add their rhythm and international flavour to the Festival. During this prestigious event, make sure you don’t miss the featured Québec City Military Tattoo at Colisée Pepsi; it’s a whirling kaleidoscope of music and display featuring 800 musicians in a stunning mix of music and spectacular choreographies. This year, the Festival will present Musics from Germany, Canada, Chile, U.S., France and for the first time, Austria!
