Ateliers & Saveurs for Flavour-Filled Workshops!

Ateliers & Saveurs
In a splendid, historic building in Old Montréal, on two different occasions, I participated in bartending workshops given by Ateliers & Saveurs. With a good friend of mine and my boyfriend, I partook in wonderful evenings where I prepared different cocktails according to a chosen theme. The idea behind the concept is simple: pros share their secrets with participants so they can make their own delights. Whether it’s for cocktails, dishes or a full meal, the concept stays the same. Give in to the temptation to become a great chef!

Mixologist 101

Did you know that this is the name used to designate creators of cocktails? Coached by a highly talented mixologist, you can recreate three cocktails during the “Tendance Cocktail” evening. These workshops are offered almost every Thursday and Friday, and sometimes on Saturdays.

In my opinion, this is the perfect outing to replace Happy Hours with your friends, for several reasons. First of all, you will be more at ease to entertain a discussion than in a bar. Second, you will take great pleasure in creating your own drinks in an unpretentious atmosphere. Finally, you will be served delicious tapas during the tasting of your creations.

A New Take on the Joys of Cooking

Every day at Ateliers & Saveurs, different culinary themes are addressed. Add new dishes to your menus, enjoy tastings with your friends or savour a wonderful evening cooking with mom for Mother’s Day! Whether it’s for a culinary tour of Mexico or Thailand, sushi madness, tartare discovery, or to learn everything you wanted to know about sauces, macaroons, lobster or soup, you will find the subjects as diverse as they are delicious!

Another fabulous concept you should try is the “Gourmet Pressé,” which makes it possible to enjoy your lunch break in a unique way. On the menu: an exquisite dish, fully explained techniques, group preparation and, of course, tasting. Transform your business lunches into an enriching activity that only takes one hour and is affordable!
