Festi Lumière Aquarium du Québec

From December 26 to March 10, 2012, the Aquarium du Québec will shine with a thousand lights as it hosts the 4th Festi Lumière. Not far from the St. Lawrence River, located in the city of Québec, this annual festival has a dazzling show featuring light. Designed to astonish the whole family, the outdoor circuit promises you a colourful show.
Experience Astonishment
When the sun sets, more than 400,000 lights will illuminate the site. This show is quite the sight to see and will delight you as you explore the outdoor circuit along which you will find animal-shaped structures and ice sculptures.
A gingerbread house that you can decorate with cookies awaits. Also, three slides and inflatable games will delight children. The festival mascot and an animal ambassador will welcome you and remain on site for the length of your visit. An ice bar touting an outdoor fireplace features festive music and a musician to warm you up with lively beats.

The Aquarium du Québec teems with life, even in winter! While visiting, make sure to greet the new polar bears, Taïga and Ganuk, as they lounge about their pools, and walrus are waiting to show off their skills in front of you! In all, you will come across 10,000 marine animals, including fish, reptiles, invertebrates and marine mammals. The Festi-Aqua package will allow you to visit the Aquarium during the day and have fun at Festi Lumière in the evening.

Let Festi Lumière bedazzle you every evening from December 26, 2011 to January 8, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m., and on every Friday and Saturday from January 13 to March 10, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m. Also, get the Festi Lumière Passport so you can enjoy this event as many times as you would like.
