From October 8 to 10, Burbank Pond in Danville will be the site for the ninth edition of the Migratory Bird Festival. Over the course of the same weekend, go from birds to sheep! The tenth edition of the Wool and Sheep Festival will be held on October 8 and 9 at the Ulverton Woolen Mills. There, you will be presented with the history of this old woolen mill. In addition to explaining how fibre was made and then used to make warm socks, the Mill features several activities, including tastings of savoury lamb dishes.
