To Stay in Shape
Fall is ideal for getting on your bike, because colourful landscapes abound along the region’s cycling trails. Get a copy of the cycling map and head out for adventure on the Véloroute des Cantons, on road circuits or the Route verte’s 360 kilometres.
On September 24, take part in the 3rd Summits Day. This celebration will please outdoor enthusiasts since it will be held on Summit Drive where you will find the Townships’ highest peaks. On the agenda, the Rallye des Sommets, hiking on the new Des Cimes trail or biking up Mount Morne.
For The Pleasure of Learning
Does history interest you? Explore the Townships Trail (signposted Chemin des Cantons) and learn how the Loyalists developed the territory in their manner. Museums and interpretation centres are open every weekend until Canadian Thanksgiving.

Grape-harvesting is about to begin along the Wine Route!(signposted Route des vins)! To learn how grapes are harvested, the vineyards La Bauge and La Mission in Brigham, as well as Le Cep d’Argent in Magog are giving introductory workshops on the grape harvest.
Falling for Apples
The region is teeming with orchards that delight everyone fall come. But in addition to pick-your-own activities, you can get your hands on many products. At the Verger familial C.R. in Magog-Orford, pies are made. Then, tasty crêpes and new Croustipommes are served at Verger Le Gros Pierre in Compton. In Sainte-Cécile-de-Milton, the Vergers de la Colline will delight children with its animal farm. For adults, Frelighsburg is a choice destination for tasting Domaine Pinnacle’s ice ciders.
