Décembre, le Noël de Québec Issime
To help get you in the Christmas spirit, I have the perfect solution for you: the show Décembre, le Noël de Québec Issime (in French)! This weekend, before showing for its 9th year at the Place des Arts, this great show will be given at Colisée Pepsi in the city of Québec! This will be the first time the show is presented outside the Place des Arts, with the Colisée Pepsi amphitheatre making it possible to present an even more grandiose version. I saw the show a few years ago, and I assure you that upon leaving the venue, you will be excited for Christmas to come!

Dreaming of a White Christmas

Just one word comes to mind… magical! Truly, I was completely astounded by the show Décembre, le Noël de Québec Issime. The décors alone are worth the trip! Brilliant and colourful, you will alternately find yourself under the tree in a little Christmas village, at Santa’s workshop or in a snowy forest! But what makes the show all the more extraordinary is the twenty-some musicians, dancers and singers who make their way across the great stage.

Décembre, le Noël de Québec Issime

And hearing your favourite Christmas songs will make quite the impression when presented as Québec Issime does during this show. Great hits like White Christmas or livelier holiday songs literally come to life before your very eyes. You will be swept away by the magic of Christmas, and the season’s spirit will stay with you long after the show is over!

More Than Just Christmas Songs!

The show is divided into 12 scenes, presented chronologically, from preparing for Christmas until New Year’s Eve. But the show doesn’t just include Christmas songs. Some are about winter and others carry us off to magical places. The elfish Lord of the Rings Christmas and Flying Canoe scenes are among my favourite.

If you can’t make it to see the “expanded” version of the show this weekend in Québec, you can see the “original” version at the Places des Arts in Montréal, from December 9 to 30.
