La Ronde

In 2012, La Ronde visitors will take flight with the arrival of its new ride “Vol Ultime.” As high as a 15-storey building, “Vol Ultime” is the new sensation in high rides. Strapped in one of 16 pairs of seats, soar to heights of up to 45 metres (145 feet) at speeds of more than 60 km/h (35 mph). With your feet dangling and the wind in your hair, you will enjoy an unrestricted view of La Ronde, Montréal and its surrounding area. “Vol Ultime” joins the 40-some rides and attractions at La Ronde, Quebec's only attraction park. A veritable "oasis of fun" just minutes from downtown Montréal, La Ronde has something for everyone: roller coasters for thrill seekers, intermediate rides for the fainter of heart and Pays de Ribambelle for toddlers.
