The Wine Route (Route des vins)

Come experience the wine producing region, with the Route des vins (Wine Route)! Located in the Eastern Townships, the Route des vins, presents 17 vineyards producing some 100 different vintages. The region has 140 kilometres (87 miles) of roads for visitors to discover, with many stops along the way. Hidden behind the Route des vins’ road signs are tasty stops: wine tastings, terroir products, cider mills, tours, country picnics, artists' workshops, outdoor activities, great restaurants, nice inns, friendly producers. All year round, vineyards have something to suit you, with different activities : Open house in June, Rosés en Fête (Celebrating Rosés) all summer long, Vendanges (grape-harvesting) in September and October, and Pleins feux sur les vins de glace (ice wine in the spotlight) late January.
