Circuit du Paysan
In the Haut-Saint-Laurent Valley, the Circuit du Paysan (Countryman's Tour) provides hours of pleasure and kilometres of relaxation. Enjoy the journey by yourself, with that special someone or your family. Located in the foothills of the Adirondacks, the Circuit du Paysan runs along the U.S. border between the Richelieu River and Lake Saint-François. This circular route is easily accessible from Exit 21 on Autoroute 15 South, in Napierville. Quebec's first marked tourist route, the Circuit du Paysan is known as one of the best gourmet routes in the province. Several thematic activities are held from May to October. Pick-your-own fruit, apples, vineyards, cider-houses, farms and lavender production are among some of the region's specialities.
