Marché de Noël et des traditions de Longueuil
The Marché de Noël et des traditions de Longueuil (traditional Christmas market) is located in Canada, in the Montérégie region, tucked into the heart of Parc St-Mark. Here, forty decorated, abundantly lit wood cabins present stalls overflowing with traditional Christmas products from Quebec and elsewhere. The smell of mulled wine, mingled with that of gingerbread, buckwheat pancakes and donuts floats in the air, as visitors make one discovery after the next while walking through the animated market. You will find all sorts of decorations for your tree, manger scenes and figurines, artisan pieces of all kinds, wood toys, games, terroir products and wines, as well as other Christmas decorations inspired by Canadian traditions. For your pleasure, there is also a rich cultural side to the event: torch-lit walk, lighting of the Christmas trees, shows, folk dancing, choral singing, troubadours and, of course, Santa Claus.
