Quebec Folk Culture Museum and Old Prison

The Quebec Folk Culture Museum and Old Prison (Musée québécois de culture populaire and Vieille prison) presents six audacious, accessible and unconventional exhibitions, one especially designed for children. Visitors can discover the storage area where part of the Museum’s rich ethnological collection is stored. Adjacent to the museum, the Old Prison of Trois-Rivières, which is a historic monument, proposes an unforgettable prison tour. The prison’s cell and dungeon will astonish more than one! A family programme and educational visits are available, from preschool to college. The Museum and the Old Prison are open year round.
