Odyssée Appalachienne

Odyssée Appalachienne is unfurling its white carpet for a 5th edition of regional dog sled racing. Held in mid-February, this event is impatiently awaited by those who love nature, the outdoors and action with the mushers and their big teams. For this major winter event, skilled marathon athletes will cover the snowy territory of 5 municipalities: Saint-Pamphile, Saint-Adalbert, Saint-Marcel, Tourville and Saint-Omer. On the agenda, dazzling departures, breathtaking crossings and exciting arrivals. With a course more than 200 kilometres (120 miles) long--the longest dog sled race in Quebec--Odyssée Appalachienne stands out from the crowd with its calibre athletes, efficient organization and dedicated volunteers. On the agenda: 7 categories of races, a host of activities and a dynamic and friendly ambiance to please the whole family.
