Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon is a large peninsula, composed mainly of fine sand streaked with scarlet minerals. The large, flat peninsula inspires tranquility. The park also has an immense sandy shore where visitors can walk for miles without ever seeing the end. You can also admire the sunset from a sea kayak or swim at the supervised beach, in the calm and exceptionally warm waters of the renowned Saint-Jean Lake. Visitors can also enjoy a 45-kilometre (28-mile) long bike trail, bike and boat rentals, discovery activities and primitive campground sites, accessible on foot or by bike on the water’s edge.
