Parc national de la Yamaska

With such a wide variety of vegetation, the scenery at Parc national de la Yamaska will charm you. The combination of both forest and shoreline habitats favour a surprising diversity of wildlife. A number of animal species call the park home, making nature observation an interesting activity, season after season. A witness to the park’s creation, the Choinière Reservoir is surrounded by forests and prairies where several species of animals live. When the weather is nice, the lake comes alive with the kayaks, pedal boats, sailboats and canoes that dance across the water’s surface. The Appalachian mountains surround the Parc national de la Yamaska with undulating valleys and gentle relief which fill winter activity lovers with delight!
