The site of confrontation between the French and British, the Plains of Abraham was where the famous 1759 and 1760 battles were fought. Created in 1908, this prestigious 103-hectare park in the city now welcomes over 4 million visitors annually. The multimedia exhibition Odyssey at the Discovery Pavilion of the Plains of Abraham exposes a virtual 400-year-long journey from the birth of New France to the battles fought and the park's creation. The new summer exhibition at Martello Tower 1 promises a novel experience with cutting-edge technology. Other activities to discover: bus tours, free outdoor concerts, winter sports, Halloween and group activities.
