Symposium Artistes sur le champ

Organized by the city of Chambly, the 17th edition of the Symposium Artistes sur le champ will be taking place August 4 and 5, 2012 on the unique site of Fort-Chambly. This major cultural and tourism event reunites more than 50 artists who create and display their work on site. Celebrating the visual arts, this festival welcomes many visitors from all over Quebec every year. The public will get a chance to admire artists' talents and mastery of different techniques with figurative, abstract and naïve art; there's something for everybody! Many free activities are on the agenda for the whole family, including several workshops where visitors can participate in the creation of collective works with artists inspired by a given theme.
