Beginning on June 13, 2013,
Théâtre Saint-Sauveur will be showing “Présence d'esprits,” a play (in French) by Noël Coward, directed by Jean-Guy Legault.
During a wild evening filled with spiritualism at the couple’s house Ruth and Charles Condomine, the extravagant medium Madame Arcati unfortunately calls upon Charle’s first wife, the late Elvira, who reappears. Grappling with the ghost of his ex-wife, Charles tries as best he can to send her back into the hereafter. But it would appear that Elvira has an axe to grind with Charles and has no intention of disappearing. In this famous and hilarious comedy, a man literally battles with ghosts from the past--to the great displeasure of his new wife, Ruth, who thinks her husband is seeing things and losing his mind!
Showing at
Théâtre Saint-Sauveur all summer long.
