Beginning on June 8, Théâtre Sainte-Adèle will be presenting “L’Amour en Otage,” a play by Sylvie Lemay. Marie is a settled, ordinary girl. But she has gone and done something wild; she’s kidnapped a deputy. He needs to be held accountable and Marie’s whole family will find itself in this improbable situation. A brother bordering on being a crook, a devious mother handling illicit affairs and a good friend of the mother who’s always ready to lend a hand with his inside tips. The situation was already serious and then this gang of nutcases showed up. Now it’s going to turn into sheer madness. Directed by Marie Charlebois and presented at Théâtre de Sainte-Adèle, throughout the 2012 summer season.
