“At Dawn, an Alouette”

From amidst artillery and the thump of propellers cutting through the air, the 425 Tactical Fighter Squadron, also called Alouette in French, emerged to join the Royal Air Force in England in 1942. This Royal Canadian Air Force unit joined in the violent fight during the Second World War. To celebrate the squadron’s 70th anniversary, the Air Defence Museum in Bagotville is sharing this heroic adventure with the exhibition entitled “At Dawn, an Alouette.”
