Portneuf is a place where the modern world becomes intermingled with history, adventure and pleasure. Easily accessible from major urban areas, the region knows how to charm. Discover priceless heritage treasures along the Chemin du Roy (King's Highway), the oldest road in the country suitable for motor vehicles. Dive head first into adventure while exploring the Bras-du-Nord Valley in your canoe, kayaking the Jacques-Cartier River, travelling along the bicycle or hiking trails or enjoying a round of golf on one of the many courses. Winter is also fully appreciated in Portneuf, thanks to the many trails found in the region. You can take advantage of the season, with snowmobiling or four wheeling, not to mention the hundreds of kilometres of trails marked for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, and hiking trails that are maintained in the winter.
