Where two wild rivers meet, Dolbeau-Mistassini offers you its nature, culture and history. Stay at Vauvert-sur-le-lac-Saint-Jean; it has a new campground with rustic chalets providing a view of the lake. You can enjoy nautical activities, hiking trails, shows and 7 km (4 mi) of beach. Downtown, stop at the waterfall campground, enjoy the beach along Mistassini River, discover the Véloroute des bleuets cycling footbridge, as well as hiking trails or mountain biking. In August, celebrate blueberries and taste the famous blueberry chocolate made by the Trappist monks. This summer, the Route des mille et une histoires will be putting on theatre shows at different sites, day and night. Originality, laughs and thrills await you. In winter, the Vauvert-sur-le-lac-Saint-Jean site becomes a snowmobile stopover, also featuring ski, hiking and snowshoe trails, as well as ice fishing packages.
