Take a workation in downtown Montreal!
Take a workation in downtown Montreal!

Do you know the concept of a “workation”? Combining the words “work” and “vacation,” this term involves mixing work with pleasure, all while finding new ways to work. In partnership with Tourisme Montréal, Aire commune has nine packages and five workation routes in the downtown area, offering different options for both local workers looking for a change of scenery and international telecommuters. These routes are similar to a guidebook, offering the best spots around town for workers looking to find new ways to telework, have a bite to eat during a business meeting, grab a coffee while on a Zoom meeting with coworkers, hold in-person meetings in unique locations, and explore the neighbourhood on their days off!

Bringing new life to the downtown area

Giving a new take on happy hour, Aire commune also organizes events in some of the most beautiful spots in downtown Montreal. You’ll be able to enjoy the city’s bustling atmosphere during your workday and your time off. Young workers will have all the more reason to make the most of life in the big city!

Working in the fresh air

Aire commune has an array of remote work options, including the Îlots d'été, project, the world’s first green desking network. Green desking is a concept that refers to teleworking in spaces specifically designed for working outdoors. Aire commune has set up free self-serve workstations throughout downtown Montreal, offering workers a unique opportunity to be creative, meet new people and enjoy the warm weather during their workday. These workstations are equipped with furniture suitable for outdoor work, Wi-Fi access and electrical outlets. With this new trend and the growing popularity of teleworking, Aire commune centre-ville strives to put Montreal on the map as an international reference for outdoor telework.

Fostering innovation at Aire commune

Located in Mile End, Aire commune, Îlot 84’s landmark project, is the first outdoor coworking and event space in Canada. Much more than just a space, Air commune also creates events and spaces that bring together a dedicated local community, all driven by a common vision: to work in an entirely different way!
