Visit the J. Armand Bombardier Museum of Ingenuity during the holidays

From December 21 to January 5, transform an old toy into a new one at a special holiday workshop at the J. Armand Bombardier Museum of Ingenuity! Did you know that the first thing Joseph-Armand Bombardier ever built was a miniature locomotive powered by a clock’s mechanism? Come follow in his footsteps! The idea is simple: take something apart, imagine and create!

The Fab Lab exhibition

Make the most of your visit and tour the temporary Fab Lab Community exhibition. Learn more about this worldwide movement and visit faraway places while discovering projects dreamed up and created by Fab Lab users around the planet. For example, see how a low-cost, easy-to-assemble wooden bicycle was designed in France using simple recycled materials.

Follow the guided tour

The Museum has two new guided tours. If vehicles are your passion, take the 45-minute guided tour of the reserve! Discover how Joseph-Armand Bombardier and his team successfully developed vehicles that float on ice, creating a new winter sport by the same token! For visitors who would like to learn more about the man behind the inventor, follow the special tour that looks at the many sides of Joseph-Armand Bombardier – the ecologist, the entrepreneur, the family man. Get inspired!
