A section of the house has been turned into a brand new restaurant with an à la carte menu. Items include the cocktail of Romeo’s gin, apple and cider, a melon-lavender soup, bruschetta with strawberry, l’Ermite blue cheese and pecan, and artisanal ham grissini. Note that some dishes do not include lavender to cater to patrons who are less fond of the taste.
Visitors who are looking for a balanced meal don’t have time to dine at the restaurant can get a sandwich, salad or a quick bite at the bistro. A tempting new “sweet and salty” snack bar section serves fries, doughnuts and lavender ice cream.
After the successful series of culinary demonstrations held last year, Bleu Lavande is now pushing the idea even further. One of the features this year: sommeliers will be on site to give themed courses on wine and mixology.
Imagine a marvellous customized picnic that you can enjoy right in the lavender fields! There’s something for everyone and for every budget. You could choose to have a relaxing meal with family, friends or with your sweetheart. No matter what you’re looking for, the estate of Bleu Lavande is organized into several sections so that you can have a wonderful visit.
