More people than ever before are expected to be visiting the Jacques-Cartier region this winter! You can be sure that the Valcartier Vacation Village will be a popular spot – a $70 million investment has made it bigger and more impressive than ever. The new Bora Park indoor water park, covering an area equal to six hockey rinks, is big enough to welcome 1,000 people at a time to its year-round 30°C (86°F) environment. And with its new hotel, the Valcartier Vacation Village is the quintessential fun family destination. Just 20 minutes north of Québec City!

Bora Park, the one and only!

Bora Park is the only indoor water park in the province. It has a large wave pool, 15 slides, a 1,600-foot-long river of adventures, a family pool with water games and a double surf wave. It has something for everyone!

Indulge in the tropical, Polynesian ambience but don’t be afraid to skip the sunscreen! The summer-like temperatures inside are perfect for curing the winter blues. Fun fact: the Bora Park has a two-million-dollar lighting system that can imitate sunrises in the morning and moonlight at night.

The Valcartier Vaction Village will also for the first time be the site of the Ice Hotel, opening January 7, 2017. See what it’s like to spend a one-of-a-kind magical night in one of the 44 rooms.
