Do you want to learn more about Joseph-Armand Bombardier and his legacy? If so, visit the Museum of Ingenuity J. Armand Bombardier—the only museum to showcase the life of this famous Quebec inventor! Located in Valcourt, nestled in the Eastern Townships, this museum offers multimedia shows, fascinating exhibits, interactive displays, and the chance to explore ingenious inventions in the reserve. There are also tons of activities for everyone to enjoy during spring break. Come rain or shine, you’re sure to have a wonderful experience!

Plan a visit during spring break

If you’re looking for something to do during spring break, the museum will be open every day from February 25 to March 12. You can put your family’s ingenuity to the test through three "thinkering" challenges, designed to tap into your intuition, creativity and ability to adapt prototypes. Get a ball to hover at the right altitude, create a marble run, or stop a vehicle in the stopping zone. So, are you up to the task?

Discover fascinating exhibits

Learn about Joseph-Armand Bombardier and the vehicles that have made inroads all over the world! During your visit, explore the Passion as a way of life object theatre in Bombardier’s very first garage and learn all about his life, his work, his legacy and his extraordinary journey.

Next on your list should be the multimedia show by Moment Factory, where you’ll learn about Bombardier’s exciting journey, from inventing the iconic Ski-Doo® snowmobile to expanding into the world of aviation. In addition to exploring the evolution of the Ski-Doo® snowmobile, you and your family can design a vehicle of the future, learn about the origin of Montreal’s metro melody, see a life-size model of a tramway, and fly a plane over Montreal in a flight simulator.
