The animated remake of the movie The Dog Who Stopped the War titled Snowtime! has been an undeniable success with families in the province. On the weekend of February 12 to 15, the Snowflake Kingdom will feature the snow fort from the movie, and families will get to enjoy memorable snowball fights! Around the Snowtime! set, visitors of all ages are invited to go to war (without hurting each other!) and take pictures with their favourite characters!
For the 38th edition, Winterlude has lots to show you with a ton of new activities sharing “Discover the Great Canadian North” as a theme. There will be a projection of digital art on a huge snow screen, wonderful sculptures and lit-up slides. You can also get some exercise on the fitness course and learn more about Inuit heritage with dance, throat singing and music displays. Adrenalin junkies are once again expected in the XTREME Zone, featuring a carrousel, a circuit for all-terrain vehicles as well as dogsledding trails.
The Snowflake Kingdom is the ideal spot to get a little crazy, try out some winter sports and make this day an unforgettable family moment. The snow really is the queen of the event and has never been so much fun! In addition to the new attractions, there will be shows to see on the Snowflake stage, fun with the Ice Hogs and the chance to soar into the air on the giant zipline.
From January 29 to February 15, the Snowflake Kingdom at Winterlude is where it’s happening!
