This magical tourist attraction will be
welcoming visitors from November 22 to December 23. The German
Christmas Market in Québec City is made up of more than 90 kiosks,
and exhibitors there greet you with a smile and original gift ideas.
The ambience is reminiscent of traditional European Christmas
markets, and it showcases German specialties as well as homegrown
delicacies thanks to a wide selection of local and international
products. Open from Thursday to Sunday, the market invites you to
make the most of the festive, enchanting atmosphere of Old Québec
Prepare to be amazed at the German
Christmas Market, which will be set up around the gardens and main
square of city hall, on Sainte-Anne Street and around Place
d’Armes. An entertaining opening night will feature outdoor circus
performances and a concert by the Choir of the Quebec Symphony
Orchestra in the Notre-Dame-de-Québec Basilica-Cathedral. If
you’re visiting with young kids, don’t forget to drop by
Kinderplatz Ravensburger, hosting various activities for families
and a giant outdoor game area. There will also be a number of
shows taking place on weekends.
The German Christmas Market is truly
one of a kind! Stroll around the aisles of wooden kiosks and
discover typically German activities and folk characters. Adults
will love the music-filled Winterbar, where they can warm up
with a Feuerzangenbowle, a traditional hot beverage
made with red wine and rum flambé. On site you can also get
