With 225 animal species to present, Granby Zoo is a place of surprising discovery and amazement. Stroll through astounding scenery, reminiscent of continents like Africa and Oceania and enjoy a refreshing wave on hot summer days at the Amazoo water park. This summer, slide down the new “Descentes de l’Amazonie” and see the interactive features on the “Rivière Aventure”.

Ara, Anaconda and Piranha

Thanks to an investment of over 3 million dollars, Amazoo has three new water slides zigzagging down from a 15-metre (50-foot) tower. Grab a double sliding tube and hurtle down the Anaconda, which is fully covered, the Piranha, which has a giant bowl, or the Ara, which has both open and closed segments. The water park’s Rivière Aventure is now decked out in an Amazonian-inspired decor. There is a tunnel to get through, bicycles and a swing that spray you with water and buckets to tip over.

A seriously rewarding experience

Known for its educational bent and many discovery activities, the Granby Zoo lets you see presentations that are truly one-of-a-kind. Discover the secrets of many jobs required at the zoo to take care of the animals, see the shows, watch the animals being fed, and more. Exotic species will no longer be a mystery to you! In fact, you’re invited to meet Congo and Cecilia, two young lions recently acquired by the zoo. Won’t you come see them this summer?

You can also get a personalized pass to the zoo. The zoo is open in the fall, for Halloween and even during the winter so that visitors can see the animals in a different context and ambience.
