FIFA Women’s World Cup

Until July 9 the Olympic Stadium will be hosting the FIFA Women’s World Cup, an international, prestigious can’t-miss event for sports fans. Come see an exciting competition where the best athletes in soccer go head to head, putting on a show for the audience during a series of riveting matches.

Calling all Foodies

Looking to follow the latest food trends? Premiers Vendredis (First Fridays), the biggest get-together of street food trucks in Canada, is an event just waiting to make your mouth water! With offerings that range from tartare to turkey drumsticks nachos and giant hot-dogs, food trucks have countless flavours in store for customers in a lively location where scents wafting around will guide you to succulent meals. Bring your friends every first Friday of the month! The next food truck event is on July 3.

Outdoor Concerts

Prepare to listen to the most beautiful classical music. Don’t miss the much-awaited concert by the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal performing the best-known airs from Bizet’s opera Carmen. Join Maestro Kent Nagano on August 5 at 7 p.m. Each Sunday between July 26 and September 20, you can also attend the Rendez-vous des Grands Orchestres for free outdoor concerts.

Circus, Adrenalin and Discoveries

With so many activities, families won’t know what to do first! On July 11 and 12, the Montréal Complètement Cirque festival will be setting up shop at the Esplanade while the Exalto Park welcomes visitors of all ages to an acrobatic adventure in the city. Seven courses invite visitors to take on challenges that are both fun and adrenalin-inducing. You can make this a day to visit all of the area’s attractions, like the highest inclined tower in the world offering a stunning view of Montréal. Add to that visits to the Botanical Garden, the Planetarium, the Biodôme or the Dufresne-Nincheri Museum and your trip to the Olympic Park is sure to be filled with hours of fun and family discovery.
