Themed pavilions, an interactive rally and lots of wonder await
you at the Granby Zoo
in the Eastern Townships. If the weather
allows it, trade in your kids’ stroller for a toboggan – it’ll
be just the thing to add a touch of magic to your extraordinary
This winter, get a group of four or
more people together and save with the Winter-Spring
Membership*. Make the most of the enchanting decor with your
family and see the Japanese macaques, Amur tigers, snow leopards,
wallabies and many other animals at the zoo that feel right at
home in the cold during Quebec’s winter season. And once spring
comes, see the hibernators start to poke their noses outside of
their hiding places.
Don’t miss a detour to the brand new
In the winter the Granby Zoo lets
visitors see more than 90% of the animals for 50% of the summer
ticket price. It’s a great family activity! During your visit, you
might have to take a break and warm up even if you’ve got the
right outdoor wear. Not to worry! Come in from the cold and
explore the Hippo River, the Temple, the Cavern, the Discovery
Hut, the Elephants’ and Giraffes’ Pavilion, the Afrika Pavilion
and the South-Pacific Odyssey Aquarium. These indoor pavilions are
open all winter.

brand new winter village, featuring slides as well as giant games!
Are you naturally curious? Then you’ll love to see some of the
ten-or-so themed presentations held each day at the zoo! The
zookeepers and biologists will have lots of fascinating facts to
tell you about the animals. You can also test your knowledge and
take on challenges on the interactive winter rally, sure to awaken
all of your senses.
