pique the whole family’s curiosity! Located 30 minutes from
Tadoussac in the Côte-Nord region, the Centre invites you to
discover the universe of starfish and observe many birds, whales
and other species.

At the Marine Environment Discovery
Centre, marine life is spotlighted through exhibitions, films and
activities led by passionate guides. And if you’d like a closer
look – without getting wet – the activity St.
Lawrence Live! features diver-interpreters who invite you to follow
their interactive dive as they answer all your questions. On site
there are lookouts to watch birds and seals and even witness the
dance of the whales. Don’t forget to take your windbreaker jacket
and a camera!

A new activity at the Marine
Environment Discovery Centre answers this question. All of the
secrets of this fascinating fish are revealed through visual and
tactile elements, a fun quiz and explanations provided by the
guide on site. This activity is available from June 15 to
September 2, 2019 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at
2:30 p.m. and can last between 15 and 45 minutes.
If you’re not afraid of going
underwater, this activity provides you with the equipment you need
to explore what goes on beneath the surface of the St. Lawrence
River. Slip on a cozy thermal dry suit and head down into the cold
waters. Once you are submerged, keep your eyes wide open
and let the incredible marine diversity amaze you. Nordic
snorkelling is available to visitors from June 15 to September 1,
