In addition to its must-see permanent exhibition where visitors can star in a Ski-Doo® snowmobile advertisement, take command of a C Series airplane and imagine a vehicle of the future and test it out in the Idea Studio, the museum offers a bunch of other activities! Invention and new features The season’s biggest new feature in the Fab Lab Community temporary exhibition. The exhibition will present the worldwide Fab Labs movement and take you on a journey to discover projects designed by Fab Lab users all over the planet. See how a team in France developed an easy-to-assemble low-cost wooden bicycle made with simple, recycled materials. Examine a PVC prosthetic foot designed to be affordable and easy to replicate that is the result of a collaboration between two Fab Labs in the Netherlands and Indonesia. These 20-minute tours are offered from Friday to Monday and let visitors get a behind-the-scenes look. See one-of-a-kind vehicles, some of which come directly from Joseph Armand Bombardier manufacturers, and find out more about the pre-production work on new vehicles before they are marketed. The goal of this game - ideal for kids ages 4 to 11 - is to search for mystery objects all around the permanent exhibition, making your visit that much more interactive!
