This fall, stroll along the colourful trails of the oldest national park in Quebec: the Parc national du Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentians. Covering a total of 1,510 square kilometres, this national park is the largest protected area in southern Quebec. It’s the perfect time to take in the stunning views of the fall landscape before the cold weather and snow arrive!

Go camping in the park

Looking to recharge your batteries and take in the beauty of nature? You can camp in one of the park’s breathtaking sectors. Some campgrounds are even open until October 22! With an array of options and the choice of serviced or unserviced campsites, you’re sure to enjoy your stay, whether you’re travelling alone, with friends or your family. You’ll also be able to choose where you want to camp based on the amenities and activities you’re interested in. For example, you might opt for a sector with direct access to the trails or one with water crafts and a nearby beach. Visit the Parc national du Mont-Tremblant website for more information.

Explore incredible trails

Whether you’re in the mood for a relaxing stroll or a thrilling adventure, you can enjoy over 82 kilometres of trails at the park. Now is the perfect time to take in the fresh air and admire the beautiful fall colours (although the trails are just as spectacular in summer and winter!) Access the trail maps on the website and start planning your fall outing!

Keep an eye out for wildlife!

The park’s vast territory is also home to a number of wildlife species. You might even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of white-tailed deer, moose, bears, wolves and other species. In fact, the wolf, an icon at the park, is vital to a healthy ecosystem and thrives in wide-open spaces. Finally, keep an eye out for birds, and if you listen closely, you might just hear the call of the American toad!
